Poundstock Gildhouse is the perfect, romantic setting for a
small, intimate wedding reception. We can offer you a complete
package for your wedding
reception, which includes the use of the whole building for
three days with everything that is needed for 60 formal place
settings including table linen and glasses.
The building has undergone an award winning restoration and
consists of an upstairs feasting hall with fully fitted kitchen
and there are two rooms on the lower level. Both floors have
disabled access and toilet facilities.
The word
'Bridal' is derived from 'Bride ale' which was one of the forms
of church ales for which the Gildhouse was built.
