During the last year (2006) several successful events have been held at the Gildhouse, including an exhibition of christening gowns, a very successful concert by Amorata (a group of singers from Bristol), a craft fair and pumpkin festival as well as Harvest lunch and cream teas.

2008 Events
The newly restored Poundstock Gildhouse will be officially opened by Lady Mary Holborrow, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, on Sunday May 25th at 1.0pm followed by food and entertainment. Everyone is welcome to this event which is the culmination of a lot of planning and hard work.
Following the opening, at 4.00pm the annual well Blessing at St Winwalloes well will take place, including a short Celtic service. There is transport available for those who are unable to walk the half mile to the well and back. Stout footwear is advised

Singing For Summer

2007 Events
Since May this year the builders have been busy with the restoration work and the Gildhouse has been a hive of activity. The works are coming to an end now and we were able to hold the annual Pumpkin Festival and Craft Fayre, using the Feasting Hall.

2006 Events
December 2006: Gildhouse Launch Night! On Friday 1st December an evening was held to celebrate the successful lottery funding bid and to launch the project ahead of work starting in Spring 2007.
October 2006: HLF bid successful! After four years hard work by the working group, we have been successful in getting a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
